That is a piece of grass that he carried around the whole cross country course. 
He tends to levitate in the start box so I’ve given up and let him graze in them for my safety and sanity.

I had a Lido Palace baby that I loved! Wish I could find another but they just aren’t out there.
I have to add one of mine, I always thought he was quite handsome.
Also added a colored local stallion. Didn’t do much on the track, had a nice enough temperament.
