I want to point out that correction (or punishment) is not the same as bullying or force, and also that there are many times that it’s not at all practical for training to mainly be food motivated, as in the case of dolphins and seals or other zoo animals. Food can be useful, but not as a main motivator for horses.
Plus, in your post you seem to be leaving out the fact that just because one uses correction doesn’t mean that praise and positive reinforcement are not also used when the animal performs the desired behavior.
