Splint boots for home

My trusty Eskadrons need to be replaced. I’m in the market for everyday boots that can be used at home (front & back). Does anyone have recommendations for good, affordable legwear at home? I’ve always bought Eskadrons, but there are so many options on the market now I’m curious to see what people prefer.

If you do stay with Eskadrons, MyBreeches has great prices. I’m not affiliated, but I like the actual lambskin bells and theirs were so cheap I was worried it was a scam. Thankfully it wasn’t, but they carry a lot of their products.

Honestly, I’d just buy another pair of Eskadrons. For what I put them through (and for the price) they last far longer than my Equifits and Veredus (both show only boots). I like the sheepskin eskadrons for my white-legged horse, and neoprene for the rainy weather. They’re relatively inexpensive and I think they last a long time and do a great job protecting legs.

If it ain’t broke…

Eskadron is typically way cheaper if you buy from Europe. I think they are a good everyday boot. I’ve also been using the Kentucky solimbra material boot a lot lately. They are lower profile than some other fuzzy boots, they are a little more durable against interference, and they do well in wet conditions. The fronts fit most horses fine but the hind boots are a bit snug for the giant WBs.
