Splintex Gold

Hello - I have been reading a ton about Splintex Gold and I have heard mixed reviews. I heard this stuff works, but there has been some reviews of people saying that their horse turned into a fire breathing dragon when she would apply it.

I obviously would follow the directions to a T.
Does anyone have any additional directions? Suggestions?

Reviews?

I do not want to waste my money but I figured it could be worth a try. I also do not want to burn my horse and cause a white spot to come up on his leg - or try to avoid the spot as much as possible.

I have not personally used the stuff. But know several that have none that said it was worth the money or effort. A lot of splints will resolve, reduce on their own over time. I yet to find anything that will reduce let alone make/help an old set one “disappear”.

For "fresh ones most “leg” people still feel DMSO is the most effect and or a MILD blister solution made with good old Dr. Balls and DMSO.

Here’s a link to an old thread one Splintex;
