Sports boots that don't collect dirt, dust, and stickers?

There are really bad turkey mites and ticks where i ride. One of my horses is super sensitive and breaks out easily. She does better with boots and a coating of spray. I bought sports medicine boots, but they collect so much dirt, they constantly need cleaning and washing. Is there a better alternative? Synthetic is preferable. Leather would get moldy or wet quickly.

The boots need to cover as much of the leg as possible. I have splint boots but it leaves her ankles vulnerable.

The boots do a great job in protecting her legs from bites- more effective than bug spray alone.

Anyone?

I did see a pair of Pro Choice boots that had smooth outsides that were supposed to be less susceptible to burrs. It was online and I’ve no idea which tack shop. Does Pro Choice still make the nylon covers for their sports medicine boots?

EquiFit MultiTec

Woof boots would work well

I use the Premier Equine cross country boot mostly for jumping cross country but also sometimes for trail riding. They are easy to clean and I have never had anything stick to them. Cooler than most sport boots. They run large. My trainer’s WB normally takes L front and XL hind fit in Medium Front & Hind. They are long. My OTTB is 16.1 H and takes Medium front and Small hinds. The medium hinds were a bit long.
The PE may not had as much coverage as a sport boot but more than a splint boot.

If you get them from SmartPak you can return them with free shipping if they don’t fit.

FYI- I had Dalmar xc boots for another horse for hind boots. They rubbed and would slide. My trainer had Dalmar’s and they rubbed her horse.
