Spraying Transline

I board at a place where my mare can live on hilly pasture 24/7. She’s on 80 acres with only four other horses. They’re having a great time…

Yesterday, so with almost no notice, owner asks me to bring down the herd this morning and put them in their paddocks because helicopter will come today and spray the pasture. (And they did.)

The product in question is called Transline and I wish I had had more notice to research this and find out more about effects on horses, if any, and time period to leave horses off pasture. Owner swears she’s been doing this for years with no ill effect, horses only need to stay off for a few hours, etc., but this is new to me and I’m a bit worried. The previous pasture my horse lived at had not been sprayed.

If anyone has any experience with this specific product, please put me at ease if you can…

“There are no grazing restrictions following
applications with Transline when used at labeled

We use a similar product on our pasture and have never had any health issues in our horses, donkeys, cows, or calves. As long as the label is followed, the product is statistically safe (I say that because there is always a chance, albeit a small one, that a product (meds, pesticides, cleaners, etc) could cause a reaction).
