Spurs that rub the least?

My horse has super sensitive skin and everything rubs the hair off (boots, blankets, and spurs). He is super lazy and you really have to get after him to make him go forward. We usually ride him at home with a dressage whip and spurs. We use equifit belly guard to prevent spur rubs at home, but we are getting ready to start our show season and was wondering in everyone’s opinion what type of spurs tend to rub the least? I know a steady leg shouldn’t leave marks, but he gets rubs from the trainer, from the professional rider, as well as me so pretty sure he just has super sensitive skin. He never has broken skin or red irritated skin, but he is white so when there is any sort of rub his dark skin shows.

I’ve had really good luck with these in the past:

I use something similar to the above pair, or a rounded hammerhead on super lazy horses. The bigger surface area is stronger as a super, but if it can’t catch with an edge it may help.
Have you tried leaving the (what we at my barn call) ‘soul patches’ when you clip? Those work for our super sensitive guy.

I use rollers on the horses inclined to get rubs.

Whatever spurs you use make sure they are always clean, even between horses. Same with boots if you have a really sensitive one. Half chaps have also been known to rub.

I find rubber coated spurs rub less on my sensitive grey. Sometimes it’s the sharp edge of the heelband rather than the shank that rubs. I like the Stubben rubber-coated soft touch spurs like below.
