What have you used that you liked?
I am interested too! Did anyone post anything? I have looked at a bunch like PonyApp (but that seems to be just for i-phone and i want to put in documents like registrations) and horsenotes (but also seems only based on App). I’d like something to integrate with my PC but that also has calendar integration. Small number of horses & donkeys on small ranch but still lots to track with vaccines, dentists, training, ect.
It looks like Equilab is adding more features. It’s primarily to track training sessions, but I do now see a calendar with options for Farrier and Veterinary. I don’t have the paid version and have only used it to analyze sessions.
Alternately, you can most likely do what you need to with Google’s suite of apps – calendar, todos, drive for document storage, spreadsheets, etc., etc.
I have been using a combo of paper and PonyApp for one horse. Not thrilled with the most recent update on the latter.
I have been using PonyApp to keep up with all of the records (riding and medical) for both of my horses for the last couple of years. It works pretty well for what I need it to do, but it tends to be a little buggy and laggy every now and then. I liked how easy it was to log activities, write notes about the event, add pictures to each activity for record-keeping, and quickly find older logged activities for reference.
Unfortunately, I really dislike the new update. I can’t find any of my previously logged activities (I wonder if they’ve just disappeared?), new activities don’t show up on the completed activities list after I’ve put them in (I tried to log ONE activity last night for 10 minutes and finally just gave up after it wouldn’t show up.), and it honestly isn’t as user-friendly as the older version IMO (Where is the calendar view or long-term list?). Hopefully, PonyApp can work all of the kinks out and change my mind because right now, I’m not sure if I will continue to use the app. That is super disappointing for me because I used to love it when I first started using it.

Yes. It tells me I have 50+ activities but I can see only the most recent twelve or so. I can search, on say farrier, and they all show up.
You have to tag the horse by name in every single post and then it will show up when you pull up the activities for that horse. Otherwise it won’t. Kind of a pain.
Some smart techie horse show person needs to invent something great! Are you out there?
I have never used it but check out equestfile, they have a free trial.
