Anyone know who stands sons from Stakkato in the US?
Spruce Meadows had/has Salito, who is Stakkato/Calido, but their website says he is not available for breeding.

He’s who I was going to say…got one of his offspring and he’s fantastic! Not sure why they aren’t offering outside breeding to him but they do use him with some of their own mares.
Is he still there? They have Le Primeur posted on their horse program page, but no foals by him and no mention of him being there.

Yes he’s still there and being shown by Kevin, I believe in the 1.50 or 1.40s
My guess would be that they ( Spruce) are to chaotic during breeding season aka spring/summer to deal with outside breedings. But surprised they haven’t done some frozen on both of the stallions for outside use.

I want to know what happened to Lougheed that they stood a few years back. He was a lovely boy.
Lougheed who was by Le Primeur had one or two foal crops before he was gelded and sold as a hunter in the US.

No Salito. He had some really nice offspring, so I wonder if he was gelded?
Salito is still a stallion. Not sure why they are not offering his services.
To start, we just want to apologize for bringing back an old post but are hoping to close the loop on Salito. He is still a stallion and competing in the amateur jumper divisions in the Pacific NW — and is available for breeding, frozen only. His offspring like Super Sox (Lillie Keenan), Argelith Squid (Bassem Hassan Mohammed), Saphir (Nikki Walker), Sally 643 (Chloe Reid) show that he produces top talent with ammy-friendly minds we hope you’ll consider him for this breeding season!
