Need a new fan to replace my very old box fan, which was used at horse shows, mounted on stall door w/ bungee cords. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations as to what type I should get, or should I just stick to the basic box fan. Used maybe 6-8x per year (in Florida…) not looking to spend a ton.
Is $64.87 cheap enough for sealed motor fan that specifically states for use in a barn?

Thanks for input - yes the price was fine. Unfortunately out of stock… I did find this one, a bit smaller, but sounds like it could work. Newair 18” High Velocity Wall Mounted Fan with Sealed Motor Housing and Ball Bearing Motor.

I have it, I’ve been using it for 2-3 years and it works great. It’s not too heavy and it moves plenty of air without being really loud. Worth every penny.
I am pretty sure these are the fans we just got. They’re great and move a lot of air. I can double check tomorrow.

The Amazon fan from iLiving does not appear to have a sealed motor, only permanently lubricated. Product description states Indoor use, not outdoor use in rain, dust, etc. I would be careful using a household fan in a dusty horse barn…

I finally had a look and it appears we got different ones that look almost exactly the same at the same price point. I would probably go with the NewAir, which seem to have more barn reviews and same features.
