I’ve been toying with breeding my mare who is by Vivaldi out of a Rubinstein x Donnerhall mare (see her full pedigree here: http://www.horsetelex.com//horses/pedigree/574001 )
Here you can see some video of her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWb32Wgd2hQ
The video is of her about a month on the ground after import so still gaining muscle after the quarantine. She has a lovely, big canter her trot is average in my opinion and walk is big and swingy.
She’s build very uphill, but is a bit long in the loins and back so ideally I’d like a stallion that passes on shorter back and croup with a very active hind leg. She’s a little sensitive to ride, but still very sensible, so could take some heat as long as the stallion also passes a good brain. She’s also huge, so no stallions that through too much height
I’ve been thinking of doing either Welfenkonig II (very supple and elastic), Gribaldi or a Gribaldi son, or Alexandro P (who I know throws some hotter babies, but I LOVE his offspring)
I’d love some opinions and suggestions!
