Stallion Suggestion for (Vivaldi x Rubinstein x Donnerhall) mare

I’ve been toying with breeding my mare who is by Vivaldi out of a Rubinstein x Donnerhall mare (see her full pedigree here: )

Here you can see some video of her:

The video is of her about a month on the ground after import so still gaining muscle after the quarantine. She has a lovely, big canter her trot is average in my opinion and walk is big and swingy.

She’s build very uphill, but is a bit long in the loins and back so ideally I’d like a stallion that passes on shorter back and croup with a very active hind leg. She’s a little sensitive to ride, but still very sensible, so could take some heat as long as the stallion also passes a good brain. She’s also huge, so no stallions that through too much height

I’ve been thinking of doing either Welfenkonig II (very supple and elastic), Gribaldi or a Gribaldi son, or Alexandro P (who I know throws some hotter babies, but I LOVE his offspring)

I’d love some opinions and suggestions!

Here’s some more video:

I have endless amounts of video

Gribaldi is deceased, and his frozen semen is a waste of money.

If you want to try a Gribaldi descendant, you can get frozen semen here in NA for the Totilas sons Tolegro and Toto Jr.

For a stallion standing in NA, look at Sir Gregory. He is a lovely and talented stallion, and not too big. The foal would have Donnerhall 3x in the 4th generation - that may be a concern to some folks, but it wouldn’t worry me that far back. The stallion owner is wonderful to work with, too.

If you are looking for Gribaldi blood Painted Black is going to be standing at stud again now that he is retired.

I think if your looking for Gribaldi blood and don’t want the expense that comes with Totilas his son Governor would fit the ticket.

Thank you, do you think Gribaldi blood would be a good fit for her? I actually don’t know too much about the lines, they seem to be very popular right now though. I do like Totilas’ son Trafalgar!

Edit: Just looked up Governor! LOVE him!!
