Stallion suggestions

Hi everyone. I have an 8 yo Cassini II mare that I would like to breed this year. She’s a 16.2hh, placid, refined Holsteiner mare who has done 1.30m and has had success in third level dressage. Ive been looking at stallions, and Clintord I and Limoncello II have caught my eye. Does anyone have experience with them/their prodigy? Or any other suggestions? This foal will be a keeper

Im looking for a Holsteiner stallion that will produce

  • preferably height between 16 and 17hh. I don't want anything too tall, as I am on the shorter side myself  Her previous owner used her as the donor mare for an embryo transfer, and the resulting foal is going to be 17+hh.
  • an ammy friendly ride
  • versatility to preform in both hunter and jumper rings, and won't embarrass me if I decide to enter in a dressage show

I am not knowledgable enough to be particularly helpful with either anecdotes of Clintord or Limoncello II offspring, or advice on strong crosses for a Cassini II - BUT - I can provide a link to the Old. stallion auction with Limoncello II sitting at a $500 bid  http://oldenburghorse.auctionanything.com/auctionhelp.taf?S=N&R=2&C=2&m=3&sort=1&st=1&days=&category_id=18675&skipkw=1&_start=1

Limoncello II has been on my list, but for a different mare type (TB).

Fresh or frozen? Does it have to be Holsteiner? Navarone has gone really well with the Cassini mares an is very ammy friendly and fits all your requirements.

Navarone is lovely; I would like to use him in the future for another mare.

But this one has to be a holsteiner stallion because she is a premium holsteiner mare, and I would like to register the foal as a holsteiner. Fresh or frozen, it doesn’t matter. She’s caught with both.

How about Corland? Really good jumper combination with the Cassini. Holsteiner approved and frozen.
