Hi all!
I have a lovely Silvano N/Cardento/Nimmerdor mare and would love to hear people’s opinions on stallions. I am ideally breeding for a hunter prospect. I have a couple stallions in mind but am open to other suggestions!
She has a really wonderful temperament, never had a sport career due to an injury but is a lovely mover. If I ended up with a carbon copy of her I would still be thrilled.
I am not looking to add any more height or bone. She is a big girl (17.2). Ideally I would be looking for something to refine her a little and add a bit more elasticity to the canter, and also keep that ammy friendly personality.
I am only looking at fresh cooled at the moment. I would prefer a stallion that has offspring already going under saddle, but will not completely write off a slightly younger stallion.
What a pretty mare! Any siblings or half siblings showing so you might get an idea about her jumping form? I will let the hunter people make suggestions because they know better than I.
You should have a look at Notorio ES2. He competes at the shows we go to. Lovely mover, seems very easy going. I watched him hack beside another stallion last year and didn’t even flinch.
You wouldn’t know he was a stallion.
