Stallions that obviously stamp their get!

I was just editing the video of my 4yo Lotus T x Livingstone x Calme gelding, when the similarity of movement/jump between him and his sire stuck. I’m sure lots of you have similar pics and videos to share, I would love to see some!

The Riverman to Royal Appearance to Royal Alyance babies all get stamped with amazing jumps, similar heads and conformation and JUST a leetle bit of attitude…Can only attach 5 pics or could attach more of this line…
Royal Alyance at 3 y/o: Royal Appearance x TB My Martina
Comet Royale at 2 y/o: Royal Appearance x TB Comet Swinger
Rabble Rouser as a yearling: Royal Appearance x TB Irish Lace
Roman Holiday as a yearling: Royal Alyance x TB Irish Lace
Royal Happenstance as a weanling: Royal Alyance x TB Reality Happens

Ralando really stamped his.

Schroeder for sure stamps his get. His type, topline and long legs and super character too.

And they seem really, really nice. May they do him proud!!

I would say A Fine Romance definitely stamps his - in particular his topline, his great canter and gallop, athleticism, great jump and willing, intelligent temperament.
Another thing that he passes on remarkably consistently is/are his eyes.

My Romance, full TB competing at Advanced

Guaranteed Gold has always stamped his foals in the same definitive manner … beautiful temperaments, gorgeous heads and neck, very pretty hunter type movement and elegance and a terrific, athletic jump. Ive had so many people tell me they saw a palomino or buckskin youngster at a show and just KNEW it was by Guaranteed Gold and asking the owner confirmed that

he absolutely stamps his foals in the same way time and time again no matter the breed or type of mare …

I think Alla C’zar stamped his- I see a lot of him in both my mare and her colt by Bon Balou. Especially in the eyes, they have very expressive eyes.

I have always thought Absatz had a strong stamp. I find that I can pick A line Hanoverians out from far away even when they are 3, 4, sometimes 5 generations down the line. I find the head, eye, and front leg movement is a giveaway with them.

I have a Royal Appearance mare and she is remarkably like her dad and grandpa, Riverman. Sweet, willing, bold, kind and all around in ability.

So far the usual suspects! any Holsteiners?

Agreed. My Hanoverian stallion, Argosy, has Absatz on both sides. I can pick an Argosy offspring out of a crowd – likely the Absatz still coming through.

In American Saddlebreds, Sir William Robert babies stand out in any crowd to me. They all have such a pretty head and expression on them. It never fails, I will see a for sale add, think aww that horse is cute, and then the name leads me back to him.

in terms of Holsteiner stallions I would say Capitol I had quite the stamp and can still be seen through multiple generations.

I just heard about Landstreicher staming his offspring and I alsways thought one could distinguish offspring by Liberty M.
And Wolkentanz I offspring I think is quite similar.

Some have been mentioned, but I see it in L holsteiner line in general–Landgraf on through his sons.

My Landfriese II (Landadel by Landgraf) mare strongly favors her sire over her dam in both type and angles/conformation and he influenced movement. I suspect this is true for many L line stallions (Landkoenig jumps to mind too).

Certainly the holsteiner stallion Conquistador, and going back another generation or two … his sire Constitution (Caletto I) stamped their get regardless of the cross. Produced both dressage and jumpers.

Yes, SWR is prepotent. Speaking of ASBs. Courageous Admiral, now several generations back, used to put a very distinctive chin on a horse. The curb groove was very fine and the chin was very flat. Generations later, I could look at a horse at Tattersalls and say “that one has Courageous Admiral in him!” Never failed. Chins of all things…

Holsteiner stallion Casall (Casall Ask) is really stamping his offspring. They have a very nice type and I have seen some of them in person. They also get his very pretty face!

One of them is 2yo and the other is 5yo. The 5yo has also a lot of similarities with his sire in terms of jumping style and technique. The other one time will tell

I was going to say this same thing!

I own a mare by a Selle Francais x Hanoverian stallion out of a half arabian dam.

You can see the A line Hanoverian in her head, eye, and movement, and it’s 3 generations back in her family!
