I think my title sums it up; I am wondering how horses are faring in the breeding and racing industries in Venezuela right now.
A daughter of one of my mares was sold through Keeneland a few years ago to a stud farm in Venezuela. At first, I was able to follow her a bit online when the haras would post photos of new foals or yearlings on their facebook page or website, but it’s been silent for a while. I don’t want to contact the farm directly for various reasons, but I do wonder how the nicer breeding farms are faring in the awful economy.
Does anyone have any info on the Thoroughbred industry, especially the stud farms, in Venezuela?
