Stephen Hayes as a clinician

Has anyone ridden with him? Thoughts? Feel free to PM me…

thanks

Seems that neither FEI nor BD have ever heard of him.

No advice but I did find his site; also on FB of course.

Yes, I have ridden with Stephen Hayes as a clinician at the Equine Affaire, so more of a public demonstration rather than a private lesson type clinic.

He was probably one of the best clinicians I’ve ever ridden with in that particular format. He checked in with riders ahead of the clinic to make sure he wouldn’t ask us to do anything uncomfortable for us or our horses. He was very positive, while also being constructive.

He really made all of the horses and riders in his session look very good.

Due to the nature of a group lesson/demonstration type riding, I don’t think I made any groundbreaking advances in my riding, but I did come away some really good tips for improving my position that worked for me and stuck with me. And that is far more than I ever got to take away from any other demo-type clinics.
