Stirrup Leather length

I need to purchase a pair of stirrup leathers for a tall man, 6’ 2". Should I go with 60 inch leather or 63/65? He’s using my 54" dressage leathers (I’m 5’ 2") and he’s on the second to the last hole.

I don’t think he will still grow?
seems like the 60" should work, or the 63"

I’d vote for 60". That should be plenty of room if he decides to ride a bit longer in the future, but with the 63" or 65" you may risk having not enough holes for a shorter person if they need to get on and school the horse for him.

I’m 5’10" and long legged, and 60" is marginal for me. It might help to know his inseam, mine is 36." There is always the hole punch if someone else schools. Or just swap stirrups. If you can surreptitiously measure his current leathers that might help?
