Stirrup leathers: wintec Webber’s

Are the Wintec webbers thin enough to fit onto the stirrup bar (of a Wintec saddle) without a lot of pulling and pushing?

I love mine. I’ve used them on conventional saddles as well as the Wintec that I no longer own.
They are quick and durable.

Since it’s been raining in Southern California recently, mine are squeaking a little at the start of a ride, but my horse’s ears register only minor concern.

As long as the saddle is not on the horse, you’ll have no problem installing and removing them.

They are very easy to slide onto the Wintec stirrup bars.

Yup. They’re easy.

Definitely have the saddle off the horse. It can be a bit tricky if the loops have been bent a bit and are soft; the stiffer, the easier it will slide on.

I love mine. When I got my pony I was worried about my weight being too much for him so I swapped my old leathers and stirrups for Wintec webbers and composite stirrups. Noticeable difference for me when carrying the saddle; not sure pony noticed.

Are they easy to Adjust the length? I teach riding lessons

Thank you for your help. Webbers it is

Re: adjusting
Yes, like regular leathers, they’re easy as long as you have more or less the right size.

For instance, I’m 5’7" and can use the XL pair I bought for my 6’2" son’s saddle. I use the second- or third-shortest hole depending on the horses’ barrel.

My 5’3" friend cannot use my horse/saddle without her own set of medium-length webbers, which, luckily, she has.

I’m guessing they have children’s or short sets, too.

PS, Note, you cannot punch new holes in them. Worst case scenario, wrap them just as you would too-long leathers when the leather punch is too far to fetch.
