Stirrup Leathers

Just wondering how to choose the right stirrup leather length.

My Jump saddle stirrup leathers are 52", what should my dressage stirrups leathers be?

I just bought a new dressage saddle, and want new leathers with it, my leathers on my current dressage saddle are so old, they are not stamped.

Standard adult length stirrups are 54 inches. A lot of dressage leathers are 60 inches. Unless you ride with drastically long dressage stirrups, if you’re riding with 52 inch leathers in your jump saddle, I probably wouldn’t go any long than 54. I used 50 inch on both my saddles when I still had a dressage saddle, because my legs are so short.

I ride with a long dressage length, my friend is about 5’7 and I ride in the same length as her but I am 5’4
