I recently bought a used dressage saddle and I’m in need of stirrup leathers for it. I’m not sure of what size to get, I read something on Dover that said to double inseam length and add 6-8 inches for dressage, my inseam was 27” and so using that I would need 60” stirrup leathers. I’m only 5’2” though, would those be too long?
I think those would be too long. I’m 5’1 and have plenty of holes left on 54” leathers.
I have 60" stirrup leathers and I’m 5’4". They are way too long. I had to punch holes in them. Get the 54’s. Mine are due for replacement soon and I’m going to be shopping for that length.
okay, and would these be long enough for a dressage saddle? They are usually longer.
Yes. I ride in a dressage saddle and the 60" leathers are too long.
thank you, just ordered 54” ones!
