Stirrup leathers

I have a new saddle so I’m looking for some soft stirrup leathers in black that won’t damage my saddle. Something not bulky, although I am not a fan of mono leathers. I also need them in a 54 because I am short with stubby legs.

Any suggestions?

I just bought Joseph Sterling leathers from Schneider’s that fit your criteria. I have them on my AP saddle, but didn’t notice bulk under my leg. The hole spacing is nice as well, not quite half-hole, but closer together than some leathers. I think buckle bulk is often a function of the saddle - I had one saddle that I had to buy mono leathers for even though I usually have no issue with buckles.

I have the Joseph Sterling ones too and really like them.

I use Schleese jumping leathers. They are narrower than regular stirrup leathers, have 1/2 holes, and are soft leather with a nylon core.

I recently got a pair of the Passier Velvet Touch stirrup leathers, really like them. Leather is very nice and supple and the leathers aren’t too thick.
