Etsy has a ton of cool pins but I’ve actually gotten mine at a chain of craft stores here in WA - Ben Franklin. Maybe you have something similar in your area? In the bead/rhinestone area they always have some pre-made stuff and I got a super cute rhinestone crown pin, as well as a pretty feather one. They’re cheap too, both of mine were less than <$10.

OK, total sidebar, but I was not aware that Ben Franklin’s still existed! This kind of makes my day, because my mom used to work in one when I was a little kid and I loved going there and looking around at all the Breyer horses they had. Good memories.

Anyway, sorry to digress.

I would also put in another vote for Etsy and I love the ones from Ashley’s, but sure can’t afford them!

I like to give stock pins as B-day and X-mas gifts. I have found beautiful ones at antique and thrift stores.

eBay or etsy are great places to start. A search of “stock pin” might be too limited so I start general with pin or brooch. You might then narrow it to the shape or color of pin you like such as a wreath, circle, sapphire etc.

Dara James not only sells custom stock ties but also pins

I look in flea markets and thrift stores.

I have quite a collection now in a variety of colours and I think the most I paid was about $5 but typically they’re in the range of $2 to $3.

We have a huge flea market here every year and I love going and looking through all the costume jewellery to find good stock pins. I usually come home with at least a couple more.

Antique malls are great sources for stock pond. I use a seed pearl horseshoe pin I found for a dollar! Turns out it’s 24 carat gold and was a really good buy.

I got a lovely vintage pin on Etsy - lots of gorgeous options for unique pins at reasonable prices. I agree searching stock pin might be limiting and using brooch will give many more hits. Bar pin is also a good search if you want a linear style.
