Stormhill Miller (Eventing TB stallion)
I’ve been following Billy Allen for years. What a globetrotting record he has! If I remember correctly he ran earlier this year. Hope he gets a great home:yes:
No kidding.
He made 11 starts as a 2yo in England, then raced in Austria, Serbia, France, Italy, Sweden, Germany, came to the states and raced in Illinois, NJ, Kentucky, then went to Dubai for a winter, then back to France, Germany, Sweden, England, even made a trip to Turkey, came back to the states, raced in NY, then raced on the west coast, including a few starts on the Fair circuit in Cali and finished up in W. Virginia.
He raced against some interesting horses in his travels, including Dalicia, the dam of this year’s Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom, who he lined up with in a listed race at Compiègne.

Tough old fella. He last raced in '09.

Still looking through the Goresbridge catalog but i see lot #7 is by Stormhill Miller and looks quite nice

Far as I can tell, they have two Stormhill Millers in the Goresbridge sale, two Ghaarebs, about 4 Cult Heros, and two or three Master Imps. Master Imp and Cult Hero are both dead.

LOL, you got farther than I did but there are some VERY nice horses in the sale

One at goresbridge made 300 euros and I know the other was well under 1000 too. I know a mare is involved but shocking prices.

Sorry Carol, my mistake.

Thought you meant the one that just passed.

Wow those prices are appalling. Poor breeders :frowning:

It was a bad sale to say the least. But these horses are products of 2008 and before. It was a 3 and up sale. People were still breeding to breed. Apparently some horses weren’t presented very will which in years past has been zero problem. A lot of people were complaining but people want ride before the winter considerinig all indications are it will be worse than last year. Very sad situation here at the moment.

Elite Foal sale next week at Cavan. Now that will be interesting. Some very well bred foals out of good dams. Also includes mare and normal foals as well as yearlings and 2yo’s. Also an all ID sale too.

Thoughts on this guys pedigree? http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/el+quixote When you pull the line breeding it is pretty interesting.
