Stormy Daniels is one of us - equestrian, not porn star

With one minor exception Ryehard, no one has said anything negative about Stormy. She is one of us and has way more fans than critics here on COTH for many reasons. And like I said on the other thread, only a mod can delete a thread.

This is a weird thing for your first posts. She’s a member of this board and while I’m sure she’s busy, she’s never had a problem defending herself and participates actively with us often (there’s really nothing to defend). Nobody’s ever cared about anything except feeling deeply for the loss of her horses and congratulations on her successes. Really. That’s it. If anyone was thinking anything else, they had the good graces not to bring it into the horse talk.

I saw her briefly at AECs and she was super proud of that horse and having a great time with her family. Good for her for enjoying something she loves.

I find it interesting how you will support a serial philanderer who formed a fucking special LLC to pay off his affairs (this person is somehow PRESIDENT?!) and admitted pussy grabbing abuser yet a woman who makes money for consensual sex is somehow morally questionable? You’re not American right? Best maybe not to stick your nose in our politics. And yes, stupid is as stupid does.

I read the title as the OP saying that she was one of us and then correcting the implication that we are all porn stars. Now, I don’t know why you’d do that, and the grammar involved was so-so, but I don’t think the title was meant to read that the individual in question is not a porn star.

Didn’t seem to bother Trump, you know the leader of the Family Values Party.
Weird.

Many people wouldn’t approve of my former profession (though my clothes are on bc no one wants to see that  ) and I am so glad there aren’t threads about it.

I have found the poster of whom the thread is referring to be a thoughtful poster. And I don’t give a rat’s behind as to what people do for a living. hate what you do? Sorry for that. Love what you do? rock on. Clothes on/clothes off? Doesn’t affect me unless you are my cubemate- rock on.

I find threads on this droll.

It’s men who want the porn She’s just supplying an industry fueled by men
I don’t blame either Stormy or any other woman getting paid for nudity or sex. Sic’em Stormy. If she starts a gofundme for her defense, I’m in for a dribble I think it’s great that she’s on this board and wish her success in riding her horses. And in other endeavors.

First time I saw porn was when some righteous idiot came to UGA law school to show us porn. As one of my male classmates said during the discussion, he’d never have gone to see porn if the guy had not shown it to us in class.
I went to the 10th Street Art Theatre several times with my then boyfriend and his best friend. They did not like “Vixen” although I thought it was a great women’s lib movie. She even got the dog and pony! The guys did not like Sappho Darling and walked out of it as I did with them Who wants to watch strangers having sex? Delores French in Atlanta was a friend of mine and she wrote a book about her profession in the sex biz.

Go Stormy! I hope you still have your horses and hope you gave 60 minutes a good interview.

Yah, someone lacks reading comprehension as well as basic human decency.

You’re absolutely right in part, but there is also a rather strong lesbian porn industry, too.

My comment was strictly on the title of the OP. It’s wrong. The plain language is clear and it’s wrong. I corrected the wrong. If folks are upset about the correction then they can deal with that as they will.

But the OP was wrong.

I don’t see what her profession has to do with anything even remotely related to what she does or doesn’t do in the horse world. A good equestrian is a good equestrian. As shown in the thread about that woman who was whipping spurring and yanking om her saint of a horse, profession has nothing to do with how you treat these lovely animals

Thank god we have you here to correct the wrongs and question women’s morality. Can you mansplain language to us little ladies again?

*I am assuming you are a man based off of the bigotry and self importance of many of your posts, including those in this thread.

It;'s funny because I only knew who Stormy was because of these boards. I had never heard of her before.

Then I heard her name mentioned on the news- and have heard more and seen comments online which just piss me off. People want to condemn her for her job and assume so much about her yet they support the president.

Somehow the women always get blamed for the behavior of men.

I am disgusted that someone on this thread is flat out questioning her morality. Who is that @$$ wipe to judge? Or even think he has the right to question?

Now we know who the sexist jerks are.

Participating in the porn industry does not make you a moral degenerate. Watching porn does not make you a moral degenerate (unless you want to imply that every man watching porn
ever
is a moral degenerate too). Plenty of “girls next door” are either participating on some level or enjoying it behind their closed doors while everyone in the pious neighborhood assumes they’re inside reading their Bible.

But hey
sex is a Bad Thing and we shouldn’t talk about it like a Normal Thing because then we’d possibly be degenerates too. Or have to move to the Red Light district. But maybe if people treated it like a more normal thing there would be fewer relationship issues, divorces, etc. Just a thought.

While you didn’t say this in your post, since we’re on the subject
I find it rather frustrating that it seems accepted amongst some people that using porn is fine, even if they’re in an active relationship, but the women that act and or produce porn are probably moral degenerates, sluts, etc. If they actively made the decision to make a career of that and have done well for themselves in that industry, then who are we to judge? Who cares??

Rock on Stormy.

The title is fine, you read it wrong.

Oh, I enjoy G’s posts and haven’t seen anything that makes me think he is a mansplainer, etc. The title is awkward, I knew what it meant but had to read it twice.

I giggled and enjoyed the mention of PornHub and searching the name. I can’t artuculate why I found it amusing except my 8th grade sense of humor.

I wish SD well, especially in her equestrian endeavors and hope she remains in the boards, in her free time.

I am not a man (so I can not be blamed for thinking this way because I lack the female body bits) and I read it the same way G did.

The thread title confused me.

I am part of the crowd that does not care if Stormy is/was a porn star, anymore than I would care if Stormy worked at a slaughter plant. Stormy has proven she is a strong person and I do not see how she needs to be defined by what she does to make the money that affords her the ability to have nice things.

But I still read the title as saying something that is not accurate.

Does this apply to everyone?

And the use of the terms “moral degenerate” and “not the girl next door unless you live in the Red Light district” in conjunction with the phrase “porn star” and Stormy Daniels are pretty obvious in their implications and I doubt coincidental or accidental.

These words are seriously judgmental, and NOT just correcting grammar,as the poster later attests.
Perhaps the derogatory comments have something to do with the fact that she is standing up to and defying Der Fuerher? And that the hush money payments to her may be a direct violation of campaign finance laws?

I can’t help but think of the reaction from some if the President involved was Obama. Cue the outrage.

Good luck Stormy, stay safe.
