I wish I could like this post x1000!
Good point and it should, regardless of political affiliation, vocation, race or ethnicity.
General respect for differing opinions goes a long way. Though it rarely changes my mind, I do enjoy listening to opinions other than mine. I come from a diverse background, but found that I can be pretty narrowminded in some instances. Listening to others gives me a greater perspective on a range of topics, even if I donât agree with them.
It has benefited me personally and professionally, though I still have a long way to go.
If the opinion is that a woman might be a moral degenerate because of her vocation, it should absolutely NOT be respected or tolerated. It should be called out, criticized, and slammed for the sexist BS that it is.
You should not enjoy listening to sexism, racism, or other hateful and oppressive opinions. Standing up to such hate does not make one narrow minded.
Funny, guys always suggest they want women to be the âgirl next doorâ⊠but then they shell out money to go to strip clubs, for lap dances, to dine at Hooters [ because itâs the BEST cuisine? ], or to buy porn to watch.
They have Bachelor parties that involve much/many of the aforementioned.
Huh.
Fickle much?
Kick on @stormy17 !!
PREACH
Oh, I wish Stormy had been a little more subtle in her interview with the Rolling Stone reporter! But he did mention she has 7 horses. Thereâs a picture of Stormy with one of her horses.
Please donât run off the few men, including Guilherme, William, that are still on CoTH. I still miss the farriers who left in a huff after one was banned. Just cause men think differently, we still need to understand their perspectives on things.
Yes, I know that there is a âlesbian elementâ because Iâve spent most of my time with men (grandfathers, father, boyfriends from time I was 3 yrs old;âŠmy paternal grandfather told me not to marry Little Ned, but the kid had 2 shetland ponies! )And Iâve spent lots of time with male friends, etc so I know that some men Iâve worked with are really turned on by seeing 2 women having sex. Heck, men get turned on by everything and everyone, donât blame lesbians! In my profession, men considered women who did not flaunt their sexuality as lesbians, and the opposite acting women as 'hoes. If women got money for every time they gave away sex, some of us would be very rich and have lots of horses.
Stormy must budget well to have 7 horses and a pony for her daughter.
NO! We do NOT need to understand sexist perspectives.
We do NOT need to question womenâs morality based on their profession.
We do NOT need to judge women for not being âgirl next doorâ enough.
We do NOT need sexism.
If men cannot function without exhibiting sexism, we do not need them.
OR⊠men are that into porn, and pay that much for it that she doesnât have to âbudgetâ?
Either way, sheâs a genius for seeing a market and maximizing her investments therein.
At least thatâs what people would say if it was a dude, hawking lil blue pills.
Seriously. Get over yourself. I never said to enjoy it. See my other posts. You just took it to a whole nother level.
Standing up to hate and bigotry is the RIGHT thing, but being educated and armed with competitive intelligence on what other people think- no matter how disgusting or revolting you may find it- gives one leverage in how to combat it.
And certainly G has not displayed being sexist on this board, as people are referring. I donât know G except from the board and has always been insightful posts. (so has SD). To jump on someone for using a phrase you donât like or agree with or having a different opinion- you sound unreasonable.
Not horse-related. Thereâs a thread stuck at the top of the OT forum for political discussion.
Thanks,
