Stronach buys Rosecroft Raceway (MD)

I guess this is a good thing.

How does the Stronach Group afford what it does? They just puts lots of money into Laurel, correct? Of course, this is a great thing.

As the article states, Stronach got Penn National in the deal.

As far as Rosecroft is concerned, there has been an enthusiastic harness industry in the Mid-Atlantic, particularly in DE, that dates back before WWII.

This could be a good thing for harness horsemen not only in MD, but for surrounding states also.

Penn National will benefit from being apart of the Stronach group also

Thanks Shammy.

I don’t see where it says this in the article, though. Are you saying the Stronach Group bought Penn National (the racetrack) along with Rosecroft Raceway?

Thanks.

Old age is getting in the way of my intelligence. It was Penn National that sold Rosecroft. My apologies.

I am going to check with COSTCO to see if they have a younger thinking brain at social security prices. As you know, these bulk stores sell just about everything.

No big deal, you rarely miss, so I was sure I had it wrong! Thanks for checking.

Ah, I so wish Costco sold new body parts! I could use a bunch, too. I guess we will just have to get crab cakes and beaujolais/Boones farm, again.
