Ok, if one more dam horse spooks and smashes into ANY part of my foot, i’m going postal. Riding boots are absolutely miserable at protecting ALL parts of feet. Is there any actual boot that isn’t made of useless paper thin leather, and covers all the vulnerable parts of a person’s foot? I don’t let horses get in my personal space, but lately stupid spooky things have caused horses to jump on the top of vulnerable foot parts. (Even the back of the heel is vulnerable to horses with shoes). One time it was a “dead broke kid’s horse” that did it. Yeah right, the kid would be in the ER, traumatized for life. I am roaring mad!
thanks.
Yes Bluey, exactly like that. you read my mind. I remembered that my Danner boots are the strongest, so maybe I’ll get a gigantically oversized pair for winter. They are assault/military boots, worth their weight in gold.
Sorry about your poor feet.
