Anyone have this saddle? I’m curious about it. Was thinking of finding a place that has one I can try.

T:his is not just an Aramis… but one built on the Equi-Soft tree which is split. Unless you demoed that exact saddle I don’t think you would have a good representation. I know someone who bought a “regular” aramis. She liked it a lot…
Yeah, that’s why it’s the Deluxe. At least, that’s what Dover has in the title.
No, that’s not why it’s the Deluxe. “Deluxe” in Stubben’s parlance means covered in calf. It’s a great option-- tougher than what the Frenchies mean by calf leather and it makes these saddles soft.
But the rest of the saddle is quite unlike an older Aramis you could try.
We have two split tree stubben in the barn. The horses that have them are very happy. It’s not the most comfortable seat to sit in but not worse then a regular stubben.
If your horse really likes things to move with him, he will adore this saddle. If your horse wants a super stable tree up there, I would guess this would be something he would hate.
I find with this saddle the horses who like them, that the trot is easier to sit and my body is quieter doing changes/tempis.
One is the aramis, the other is the genesis.
Cool! Thanks!
I have an Aramis without the split & I love, love, love it! I got it about 18 months ago, deluxe, biomex, and asked for Velcro blocks. I got it from a rep, not Dover or off the rack.
