Stubben Island II saddle

Hi, new here… Greetings everyone!
Does anyone have any experience with the Stubben Island II saddle? Made for wide and big shouldered horses like Halfies and Icies… There is one for sale somewhat near me and I am tempted to try it for my wide Mustang mare and Welsh Cross. Looking for a general review from anyone out there who has actually tried one. I had a Stubben Siegfried that I absolutely loved as it had the perfect twist for my formerly busted up hips/pelvis but it was too narrow and pinched my mare’s shoulders. This one is wider and built to accommodate large shoulders with a cutback. Thanks!

Do you mean the Island NT? http://www.stuebben.com/cat/saddles-207/icelandic-saddles-4223/prod/icelandic-saddle-island-nt-59905/

I Googled Island II and didn’t find anything about it in English, only in German and other Germanic languages.

I’ve seen some websites that do not recommend Icelandic saddles even for Icelandic Horses, including iceryder.net! By “Halfie” do you mean a HAFlinger? A Haflinger is nothing like an Icelandic.
Mustangs and Welsh crosses are very different horses; what Welsh cross do you mean? Welsh x what? Makes a difference.

Some people say the Icelandic saddle sits the rider too far back on the horse’s back.

Can you post pics so we can get an idea of your horses’ conformations?
