Stupid turtle is lost again

This time it’s not my fault.
I wet outside to feed her and her tub ws on it’s side, empty…:frowning:

I have no idea what happened. If a stray dog came by and knocked it over or what.

Need to dig through my pictures and see if I have any decent ones.

Jingle for the turtle please.

Turtle is runnin’ free!

Oh, sorry, its kind of a funny picture though. When turtle returns from its frivalous shenanigans please glue a SpotOn to its shell. http://www.findmespot.com/en/index.php?cid=101

 Thanks! I needed the laugh!

LOL!

Jingles for your turtle! Hope you find it!

Turtle, go home!!! Hope you find him/her. What kind of turtle is it?

Jingles for the turtle. Sounds like a thread from an “Eloise” book.

Did you find your turtle?

No, turtle ha not found her way back yet.
It’s a red eared slider, the thing is about 8 inches long, almost 6 wide…

Poor thing! Do you have any bodies of water nearby? Because water turtles like that can’t/won’t eat/swallow properly without water.

We are up on the hill, it’s been dry…

Well, they can travel quite a long distance. Maybe he/she will come across something, or perhaps someone will find her. It may sound ridiculous, but have you put up any notices?

Yes, put up a flyer. A neighbor might have found your turtle and decided to keep it. Maybe they lost their cat and are lonely. Or something.

Do you have a dog?

I lived in another country once - in a time long ago, and far away, but in a place that not much else could get by outside except a turtle. Returning from a visit home to the states, we were advised by exDH that he lost Mr Turtle, who had now grown up, but was very adept at burrowing under the jungle that was our garden. At the time we had 3 Labbies. They weren’t normally search and rescue, but I brought them outside from the air-conditioned house, and asked, “Where’s the turtle?”

The youngest picked up on the game, and found him within 10 minutes.

You never know. Hope this helps, and you find him soon.

I used to live in the tropics and we picked up a tortoise from the middle of the road and brought him home, abut 300 miles at vastly different altitude. We drilled a hole in his shell and put a chain on it so he was free to roam around. My goodness, attitudes have changed since those days, and I really think it was wrong of us to bring him/her out of his environment - he lasted a long time with us, but still. Poor Shellyback.

LOL you didn’t toss him out in the backyard to fend for himself…but the idea of chaining the turtle up is

Ah, no dog.

Working on the flyers…

I will jingle for his safe return. I love turtles!

Oh darn it, I thought you’d come back to tell us he was found . We have two RES, about half the size of yours and they live in a 55 gallon tank. After losing a little RES to racoons years ago I’m not leaving these guys outside! Jingles he reappears!

Jingles for your turtle! Honestly…I have never seen a lost turtle flyer - hopefully it will get people looking!
