Stupidly excited.... Got the dressage saddle I have been looking for on Ebay!

Beyond thrilled.

My farm owner had been extremely kind to allow me to ride occasionally in her very nice L’Apogee dressage saddle. Then we went through the whole hunt for a saddle that would fit my horse and while the saddle fitter was evaluating things we threw the dressage saddle on and they commented that that was the best fit of all the saddles. Since then I have been keeping a lazy eye on things.

Then I stopped looking altogether.

Months passed and the other day I followed a click bait article about a jilted English woman who sold her wedding dress on Ebay for $68,000. That led me to Ebay and while I was there I headed over to the saddle listings.

Boom.

First link on the page.

18" medium tree L’Apogee DL Mono Flap. For what I thought was a great value.

Long story shorter, it’ll be here Thursday!!!

I can’t wait.

Here’s a pic of my horse Gin and I in the barn owner’s version of this saddle at an event last year:

Well done!!! (and not stupid at all)

I just love it when that happens!!

Given the number of threads on saddle shopping and fitting issues, I don’t think it is stupid to be excited at all. Lets face it, we all love happy endings.

Me too! I got a beautiful, almost new Stubben Genesis in brown on ebay for a steal. I love it!

Congrats!

For once a click bait lead to something good!

I was once over the moon because I won 12 brand new hoof rasps on ebay for $40! We know how you feel, especially on your first try!

Good for you!
