Oh, clanter, I’m so sorry for you and your family.

All dogs should be lucky enough to have such fulfilling and important jobs.

Sleep well, Sucha.

She had a long life making it to 15 headed to 16, her last day was a good one, she played some with Ducky (who misses her greatly), having a normal day. After 9pm she basically began shutting down, no complaints from her as she was ready. Her collar and bowls are now retired.

Daughter was preparing to take Lexie to a show in Oklahoma to hopefully get Lexie qualified for nationals, she was up all night with Sucha. (Lexie should have no problem qualifying but one never knows just will happen)

So, wife has taken Ducky up to the show to help daughter get ready for the classes. This will make Ducky’s first horse show attendance. (this is really therapy for wife and daughter, we all knew Sucha could pass at anytime as none of the three prior Goldens we had live beyond 12.)

Ducky was purchased by our kids after wife’s German Shepherd Dog Sage passed at 14 nearing 15.

Ducky has two holes in the hearts to replace, and she is trying her best to do so, She is the happiest dog I have seen, just always wagging the tail and getting into mischief of her own making

My friend told me that every time she gets a dog, she has an amazing dog. Once they are gone she thinks she “will never find another dog as wonderful” but then a new dog shows up and its just as wonderful as the one she lost. She said she’s been lucky to own so many wonderful dogs.

that just happened, the horse is Mulligan who was daughter’s eventing horse, he could easily clear five feet. I was doing something in the barn and just saw them out laying down together

the one of her nose to nose with the foal was taken while daughter was working with a Clydesdale breeder, she was training the Clydesdale to work under saddle.

The new Golden Ducky is really a live wire, when off leash she does no where at walk it run full speed.

All of our Goldens have had their own personalities, each has been very good dogs but Ducky is by far the most active.

Ducky is at a horse show this weekend, nothing has been reported as to how she handling that. Daughter is stabling with a trainer who has a border collie I suspect the two are tearing the ring up when given the chance.
