Suffolk Downs closed for good yesterday. Does anyone know where the horses will wind up? Is Canter New England still around?
Suffolk Downs hasn’t had a real meet (more than a few days) for several years so racehorses don’t live there. Those who were entered for this final weekend shipped in from other tracks. Then they shipped back to their home tracks to continue racing.

Caught part of an interview on the Boston local news, WBN IIRC and not confusing it with another city , with somebody saying they hoped to host some dates at a fairgrounds track. No details.
