Would it be possible to add an Icon for Reported Spam posts?
Something like the green tag that indicates you have posted on a thread?
That way viewers would know the SPAM has been reported & might prevent someone from getting trapped by clickbait.
We have been flagging and adding a post with “Reported” below spam.
If you see some that doesn’t has that below, it probably was not reported yet.
There has been more than normal spam creeping in lately, all over, with new threads and bringing old ones up and just adding posts to current ones.
I guess with the holidays, everyone wants to sell something while customers are in a buying mood and the rest of us are getting caught in spammer’s nets.
Never click on any link without first double checking if it is really a poster or a spammer with a couple posts.
I am also getting more email spam.
Why would anyone ever buy from spammers?
Spamming already means shady business anyway.
Maybe they can tighten the spam filters some more, without slowing the web site too much?
