Suggestions for Retirement Barn in Washington, DC Metro Area

Hey all-

I recently had to retire my horse due to injury.
I am looking for a barn to board him that accepts retirees, would be a nice quiet place that would be willing to work with his somewhat high-maintenance medical needs (occasional sweat wrapping etc.).

I am located in the DC metro area and would prefer a smaller private barn but would also consider some lesson barns and am willing to drive up to an hour or so away.
Would prefer something anywhere from Poolesville to Brookeville-ish area.

Let me know if you have any suggestions!

You could try Blue Ridge Farm also in Upperville, Patricia that runs it is a vet Tech… she does routine care on a lot of horses there. I kept mine there for several years, she took great care of my old retiree Elf… he had Lyme and had to have treatment often.

I also recommend Patricia. I have had several horses with her.
