Full disclosure she’s a former barnmate of mine and a dear friend.
I would call Emily Kocubinski.
She did a working student time with Pat Dale and herself has ridden around Rolex when she was 18. She’s a hard worker, fair seller and easy to work with.
She’s gotten great contacts now and picks lovely horses.
Today’s newest addition is up here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10210792157832532&set=pcb.10210792158592551&type=3&theater
Her website is: https://www.facebook.com/rfssporthorses/

What a pretty trot he has!
I saw this am that he’s pending. Not surprising.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I will keep the search up this weekend.
I was looking at this guy last weekend and see that he is back at the track. I like him. http://canterusa.org/horses/listings/stroke/ The listing is from back in July
Thank you for all the nice recommendations! Carly- shipping to KY is actually very reasonable! Right now the market is very very interesting (well it has been) where horses coming right off the track or still at the track are fetching higher prices than some let down with retraining. I can’t really wrap my head around how many people will go pay from something that is unknown but I have a similar horse in my barn that I have been able to evaluate not to mention I know comes from very very good connections and I struggle to even get people to look at it. The stuff that checks all the boxes is sold in a day (I can’t keep grey horses in my barn for longer than a week) but some are just hanging around. The RRP has really changed the shopping habits but I have to say most resellers who are careful are also evaluating the people buying. I don’t want my horses ending up with someone who just wants to do the RRP program yet really has no background knowledge in bringing along tb’s (not to say this is your case but I have seen it frequently!). I worry that horses are just going to end up getting dumped or ruined along the way.
The prices for anything most of us who actually source them off the track are not cheap. I know what I have to pay to buy anything big, sound and athletic and I need to cover my costs of buying, shipping, worming, farrier, dentist, chiro, etc. I have bought some from Amy with good success but I am really picky and it takes something special for me to buy and ship. The good ones are $2k and up so you add shipping and the rest and it becomes a more expensive horse.
