Suitable jump saddles for high withered horses?

Needing a jump saddle for my new horse! Only interested in CWD’s, equiline or prestige’s. Wondering which brand and model would best suit a very high withered horse?
Cant afford new or custom made

I’d say cwd. Have a rep come out and determine what fits your horse best, and then you can buy a used one from them. They always have tons of models in every price range and flap/seat configuration you can imagine. I’m on my second cwd and it fits everything from big wbs to shark finned tbs

I don’t have experience w equiline or prestige saddles but it would be difficult to find a saddle online, even with good reviews, that would fit your horse without someone actually being there to try it. For example, one model could fit one persons high withered horse but it may not fit yours. CWD at least has reps that can come fit your horse and help find what you need

Cwd with a 205 or 210 or even 215 in the code could work. That means the whole panel is raised and taller to give more spine clearance. I have a 2gs 205 and it fits all my TBs nicely. I do not have any of the other codes (3xx, 7xx, 8xx, etc) as those tend to adjust the saddle more towards a rounder, warmblood style back. The 05 in the 205 means 5 mm more panel, 10 is 10 mm more, etc.

I had our rep out to help me, she was great at deciphering that I should look for and then my horse let me know he liked the fit.

Since you want to avoid new, I would suggest talking to a couple of the good consignment places also as to what they have that would fit a horse built like yours. Maryland Tack Exchange and Highline Tack are both good and allow trials on the used saddles so that you can check fit. And if you are going to have a CWD rep out, you might check people’s experiences in your area - the quality of their reps varies widely, I’ve had both great experiences and terrible experiences with them in the last 5 years depending on who was covering my area at the time. Equitack might be another option - I think they are the used saddle affiliate of Voltaire (if I’m remembering correctly from the Kentucky Three Day Event!) and they had a fitter that seemed fairly knowledgeable.

Thank you everyone! I’m from New Zealand so we don’t really have reps here, and the people that do sell them here only sell new unfortunately!

I love my Prestige for my super high-withered TB.

Old Dominion Saddlery has a 17.5 CWD SE02 with 215 panels and long forward flaps. It’s hard to sell a saddle customized like that so make an offer.
