Summer riding tights?

I need to purchase a new pair of riding tights to add to my wardrobe. I would like a pair that I can wear in the blazing heat of the day and not be sweating to death. Any suggestions?

I really wish riding tights were under $50. They are so darn expensive.

They make a version with no patch for $55 which is fine if you normally wear tall boots or half chaps anyway.

I use Irideons and I think they are pretty cool. I like the fit and durability too.

The nice thing about Tropical Rider is that once you purchase from them they frequently send you sale emails or free shipping. I prefer the endurocool or the Prixtech tights to the Tropix.

Living in the deep humid south, nothing compares to the enduracool. Nothing. Just be warned they will show every roll, dimple, and lump. Get a dark color.

I’m sorry but I found your comment about “blazing heat” in New Hampshire funny! I know it gets hot up there but from a southerner it’s still humorous! What I rreally want is a dehumidifying pair of riding pats! :winkgrin: or ones with some kinda air conditioning liner or somethin’!! Or a fan inside?!!! :eek: So the answer is to not ride for me! Me big weanie! And proud of it! And here is not the heat; it’s the hoomidity!!

LOL sorry, I am not a heat person at all, I prefer 70 degrees tops so when it is 90+ and humidity is through the roof that is blazing heat to me Yes I would never survive elsewhere. So I guess maybe I should have written crazy humidity

The best tights EVER were the caruosel ones (spelling??) feels like you aren’t wearing anything. But they went out of business. I WISH I had bought several pairs!! But I got a pair of Irideon’s and they are ok. I get back to the trailer and OFF come the tights and put a pair of shorts on.
