NYT did a feature on a Manhattan emergency vet today - I couldn’t help but be amazed at how different the causes of emergency visits are in the middle of NYC vs. for a farm vet in rural Vermont! Anyway, nice to see vets get a shoutout in popular press.

I want to know how pets and horses figure out it is a weekend when they have their crises. “Hey it’s Sunday, let’s choke/vomit/spin in circles.”

Be fine all day, then stroll in after dark with something RED LIGHT NQR 
Don’t forget holidays…they always know if a crisis needs to be, holidays are the day to do it. Never had a dull Christmas when I was working emergency and that was true for both my large animal and small animal career.
