Nothing actually ‘makes up’ for a toilet as a b-day present. I think a great day with the girls allows you to move past the toilet as a b-day present, or perhaps think beyond the toilet as a b-day present. But makes up for? No chance. :winkgrin:

Mr. RR has been hinting mightily about my upcoming b-day. Books - books on China seem to be the big clue. My current best guess is an electronic “book.” You know, one of those things that let’s you download book files. Could be VERY cool in Nanjing, where shipping from Amazon runs around twenty bucks a book. :rolleyes:

I have begun packing, by the way. And have discovered that I did a nice job packing back in June when we moved to present location from last farm. Very easy to just pop open the bins labeled “winter clothing,” wash and repack.

I can’t believe this thread is still going… I am very pleased to see it is.:yes:

Show season is over for the most part, and I’ve had a very, very, busy summer.

Thanks to all who expressed concern over my whereabouts.

I looked through some of the posts that I missed, and you have all taken horsey stick art to a new level! You’re all amazing, especially horse-loverz.
