Excellent! Really, quite amazing. I stick to the little guys that take four or five strokes. This realistic stuff is really quite nice.
As RNB pointed out, whiting out the missing strokes is the key. I think chisamba did a great job working through the issues by filling the space on both sides and creating a lovely artistic balance.

And the #5000 post crown has been rightfully restored to RNB.
Now that we have totally confused anyone who wasn’t here…
RNB and I posted almost simultaneously. I thought I had gotten 5000, but it turned out to be 5001. So I grumped in my post. Then RNB graciously deleted HER post, giving me #5000 honors. But the honors were rightfully hers, so then I deleted my #5000 post (previously #5001), thereby promoting her #5001 post (previously #5002) to #5000 and restoring RNB to her rightful position as POSTER #5000.
I dare someone to try to stick-art that. It’s almost a celebrity death match!
Depends. Do you count the ones on the menu? :dead:
And I have to say I am a weeee bit disappointed that I missed the celebrity post match! I was SURE I would get that 5000th post, being that it is the middle of the afternoon here. But noooooo, I haaaadddd to go to Wal-Mart instead.
Hmmmm, just like there are Incredible Invisible COTHers, there are totally Incredible Invisible Couch Critics. You can’t see us, but we heeeeeeerrrrrre. (P.S. Don’t tell, but some snuck on the bus as stow-a-ways …like Me! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

…And then there are the ones like me who are simply ALWAYS asleep on the floor! Behind the couch where you can’t see us! We’re like the Dormouse in Alice; we wake up every few hundred pages, mumble something, and go back to sleep!
:lol::lol::lol: We should see how good H-L REALLY is at stick-art death matches!!! And yes, I’m confused just reading your post!! And I was there last night !!!:lol::lol::lol:
I’m done deleting and done abdicating. The crown is yours. Long live Queen RNB!!!
Until we reach 6,000…
I’m going to bed.
(And what are YOU doing up at 2 am, anyway?)
I always stay up late…just don’t ask me any questions that you would like an answer first thing in the mornings!!!
 Wow! MHM, you are one smart cookie.
Let’s see, I have 363 posts on this thread, so I need to go back and delete how many now … ??
Now that you’re in China, shouldn’t your post read…“MHM, you are one smart ‘fortune’ cookie?”
My head is spinning. Where’s that emoticon…?
Actually, if I deleted one of my own earlier posts, I could move up the ladder to become the NEW poster 5000! Mwua-ha-ha-ha!
Nah, too tricky for me. Enjoy your crown!

I wonder how many people posting today will think the same thing!!!

So YOU must be the reason we hear noises coming from the luggage bin under the bus!!!
China has Wal-MArt???
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: DQ…I was thinking the same thing? But does this mean everything in the Wal-Mart in China is made in the USA???
:lol::lol: Methinks RNB is a leettle too enthusiastic on the multiple quotes in one post option. … and an extra bonus hint - you can modify the quotes to shorten them - delete the stuff that’s not relevant to your comment.
 Yes, DQ. I don’t think they have a Wal-Mart in, say, Tibet, but Nanjing is a big old city only a few hours outside of Shanghai. There is a KFC on every corner, McDonald’s and Starbuck’s are ubiquitous, Pizza Huts AND Papa John’s proliferate with a few Hagen Daaz-es scattered in between. I haven’t seen Dunkin Donuts yet, but I imagine it’s only a matter of time.
I can proudly say that we are buying local produce and meats, cooking at home (wok and rice cooker were our first purchases) and eating at local restaurants. Wal-Mart, though, that’s hard to resist when you are furnishing an apartment from scratch.
