RR I am sooo jealous… I lived in WA state in the good old US of A several years ago and NO WAL-MART!!! I thought I was going to die!!!:eek: and I lived just outside Seattle too… and you can go to CHINA and get a Wal-Mart it’s just not right I tell you!!! Hmm later when I get home I’ll have to work on the delelting celebrity death match thing… thinking cap on right now…

I didn’t get to post yesterday because my wee one had to be put under general anesthesia to have dental work done… she spent almost 2 hrs under in the dental chair at an outpt surgery center and most of the rest of the afternoon recovering… poor baby…:no:

:yes: Yes, DQ. I don’t think they have a Wal-Mart in, say, Tibet, but Nanjing is a big old city only a few hours outside of Shanghai. There is a KFC on every corner, McDonald’s and Starbuck’s are ubiquitous, Pizza Huts AND Papa John’s proliferate with a few Hagen Daaz-es scattered in between. I haven’t seen Dunkin Donuts yet, but I imagine it’s only a matter of time.

This is exactly why I am a second stringer, I couldn’t stay up late enough to compete for the HSA 5000 death match, tho I did laugh my head off this AM when I checked in… my plan was to get up early and try to snag it ahead of RR. I’ll just have to have to devise a better plan for 6000

Use the “remember me” option - or whatever it’s called - should be something similar to that. It will keep you logged in permanently.

If other folks share your computer, you’ll have to remember to log off when you leave, but at least you won’t be bumped off every 20 minutes, or however long the COTH server has its sessions set for.

A HSA Challenge

I was just out back refilling water buckets and moving The Princess from the sunny side of the pens to the shady side of the pens for the afternoon when the lovely men who deliver my hay came to deliver my hay.

And to stack said hay on the palettes that I just recently cleaned off to remove all the moldy hay (and roaches… eeeuuuww!) that had accumulated under and around them during the monsoon season.

There were the pristine (okay, as pristine as ratty old wooden palettes that sit around in the dirt are ever likely to get) palettes all nicely arranged in the sun. And one of the lovely gentlemen called me over to point out… the SNAKE that had chosen to take up residence under the palettes.

I think it was a racer snake. I’m pretty sure that it was NOT a rattlesnake. Long skinny pointy tail. Nary a rattle in sight. Didn’t get to see the head, so I can’t say if the head was triangular or not, but Mr. Blondie and I did see a similarly-colored racer snake back in May.

Mr. Snake ambled off obligingly into the desert when the nice gentlemen rattled the palettes.

Anyone know the number for Mongeese R Us?

I think it’s still Kentucky - and I’ve been told that the tagline translates as (or used to) “tastes so good you want to eat your fingers” (“finger-lickin’ good”)
