Another peacock story
I was informed today that the flock is now over 30 strong. They unfortunately have decided that the rafters of the covered arena is a wonderful place to perch. Needless to say, one now has to dodge dropping hazards. Now I have to invent the riding umbrella to be attached to the cantle. Notice I’m trying to duck under horsie’s mane for cover.

No, they just come with the territory. I’m confident that if I ever went to a show and a peacock crossed in front of me, I’d be able to finish my dressage test without a hiccup.
One side benefit is a lovely vase of tail feathers in my living room:)
