Obviously the dreaded carrot stick!!!
Yep, you’re right. But no prize since it would be a carrot stick and no one here wants one.
 Some one needs to award HRCP a body! I mean, I’ve heard of the Headless Horseman, but the Bottomless Horsewoman is kind of creepy. :uhoh:

I’ve created a monster!!!
Well… I think I may have created a womanizing monster by placing my boy in his witness relocation home:lol:. My friend decided to move the horses to her front pasture yesterday to let them enjoy the grass and have a change of scenery. I told her as we are moving the first 2 horses… mine and one of her Icelandic ponies that she was about to see how a TB initiates a new pasture. She asked what I was talking about and I told her she would soon see. As we turned the horses out my boy… as I expected did the full out TB gallop fart buck… gallop some more rip roaring around the field. He even got her fat and lazy Icelandic to join in the fun. My friend said she had never seen her pony gallop like that. We brought the other ponies to join the rest and my guy kept trying to get them to join him in the “galloping game” after a few steps they felt grazing was a much better game:lol:
All was fine and dandy untill my friends neighbor decided to turn her horses out in her front pasture as well. Evidently my boy was afraid that those horses were going to take over “his women” and he hearded them into the furthest corner of the pasture and kept them there…sending menacing looks at the horses in the other field. My friend said he wouldn’t let the mares out of his protective little circle and kept “guard” over them. … Once the neighbor brought her horses back in and out of Mr. Studly’s sight he let the mares have run of the pasture again.
My friend didn’t want the ponies to spend too much time on the lush grass so she moved them back to her back pasture a little later. She moved 2 of the mares before she moved Mr. Studly. Well he about had a stroke!!! She said he was trying so hard to not run ahead of her but was soo excited to get back to “his” mares. She got him through the barn and turned him loose and he took off galloping to the end of the 3 acre pasture looking for his women squeeling to beat the band… well the women were "hiding on the run-in side of the barn not in plain site trying to steal the cow’s food. When Mr Studly couldn’t see them at the end of the pasture he gallops back to the barn at Mach 1 and comes to a sliding halt. and prances looking for his girls squeeling. My friend while laughing start’s shooing the mares out where Mr. Studly can see them because she doesn’t want him to drop dead of a stroke or something and once they peek their little pony heads around the side of the barn he runs over to them fast at first … then slows down as if not to look to eager and say… “so… like… what’s up…?”:lol::lol:
I am soooooo going to have a hard time separating him from his harem now. Is there a way to UN-countrify a horse??? Or Mare-B-Gone spray??? He was too afraid to be away from his women he wouldn’t go in the barn to eat his dinner. But he ate breakfast fine the next morning he even gave me a dirty look that morning when I had some horse cookies and was feeding one to the goats while Mr. Studly at his breakfast. He looked up at me agasted!!!
Give his treats to a goat … NEVER!!! He nuzzeled my hand until I gave up the other 2 cookies I was holding!! He used to be soo picky about treats…if he wanted any at all. Now he knows where the cookie jug is and nuzzles it while he is in the barn to get treats!!! He seems so much happier now, I hope he will be just as happy in his permanent home. If I had a truck and trailer I would just haul him to lessons but I don’t  I just hope this “vacation” has giving him a nice new look on life as well, I can tell just by his personality changes how much he needed this break.
Just had to share.
I will!
Thanks!
H-L - you described the infamous “thorughbred moment” - when Ted and his buddy Bow - both OTTBs - start up their antics, I just say, “They are having a thoroughbred moment.” Of course, time warps being what they are, sometimes these moments last quite a long while.
