These are my Thinline reins… These were not a PLANNED purchase this was a sort of impulse buy… I cannot express how comfortable these feel… I have smallish hands and rubber reins can be a bit hard to manage and I HATE cleaning the braided reins… These are going to be wonderful for schooling and lessons… They are like gripping squishy pillows that don’t slip!!! I am already in love…

This is my new Tipperary helmet… I didn’t know it was possible but the new model is a touch fuglier than the old sportage models… but oooh is it comfortable… they have improved the padding and you can take it out and wash it. Not to mention this is the only helmet that seems to fit me properly… Do you think my mother didn’t turn me enough as an infant?? Maybe the kids calling me “flathead” on the playground ment something after all???

These are my new Blundstone boots… They are uber comfortable and I got them for $50 bucks!!! NEW!!! The bad news for Blundstone wearers is that they are no longer going to be made in Australia… they are going to be made in Tiawan. :no: I loff these… they are very comfortable… You’d think I would be done by now… but I’m nooooot…:lol:

These are my tropical rider breeches… I thought these were a steal… $49.00 for extended deer skin patches enduracool breeches!!! Tres comfy and seem like they would be very cool in the summer… I bought 2 pair because I will probably never be able to afford them not discounted… (well I might be able to afford it… but I wouldn’t pay it:winkgrin:) Am I done yet??? The final 2 things I got were some gel insoles for my aching feet:lol: and a new halter plate for my guys halter…
whew that was a lot of stuff… alas I am going again tomorrow… and still have a couple of things I want to go back and look at.
I did see Becky Holder’s dressage test on the big screen in the indoor when I was shopping… I met and talked to Ralph Hill for a bit a friend of mine owns a horse he used to ride and he talked our EARS off about her horse and everything else.
I was spending so much time trying to keep up with the friend I was with that I caught most of it on the big screen while shopping. I am looking forward to tomorrow and seeing Teddy go at the head of the lake… It looks kind of wicked this year and should be interesting.

Whenever I need a happy infusion, I come over here and let my talentless self laff and laff. You guys need to publish a book; there’s no money in rescue–even stick horse rescue.
DQ is also pea-green with envy at the shopping HL has done. Dreams of a new Tipp helmet and so many items on sale. Mr DQ would not be pleased. Of course, DQ could remind him of his last purchase: Miss Kitty Kabota…

They had some loffly Stubben bridles for $45 bucks!!! My friend got 2 of those… Alas none would fit my moose headed TB…:sigh: I am going to look for another bridle though… and maybe some horse boots…I feel like a kid in a candy store up there…:yes::yes::yes:
The horse park is only about 1hr 15 min or so from my house so it’s an easy jaunt to make. And I would much rather go to Rolex than the Derby:yes: It’s easier to get that weekend off of work, more days to enjoy and of course the shopping!!! Going to try to go to bed early tonight cause I got an early morning ahead!!!

Last night, I had a dream about steak. Someone made me a fabulous t-bone, grilled to perfection with bleu cheese and a touch of garlic and butter (:sadsmile:). No, PP, nothing pathetic about dreams.
