Well ride went wonderful. The new Tad’s have a much cushier seat than my old one so that took a bit of getting used to. I only got to ride him for a bit due to camp but will have a more full lesson tomorrow so I will see what trainer thinks and how it does jumping!!!
Farrier and company came today so a red letter day for me. (see previous post of pics of farrier and company) Farrier is happy how horsie’s feet are coming along (Previous farrier did a bad number on his feet) and cute “eye’s guy” has a girlfriend and loves kids. I had to ask since he was sporting a hello kitty rub on tattoo along with a Hanna Montana tattoo. I told him it must take a man secure in his masculinity to wear Hello Kitty (all the time praying he didn’t bat for the other team not that I’m interested just didn’t want to ruin the fantasy:lol::lol::lol::winkgrin:) He mentioned that his girlfriend has some nieces that really enjoy it when he comes over because he takes the time to play with them and spend time with them as well so they gave him a bit of a “makeover” including his “tats” :lol: We got to talking and I mentioned something about my 14 yo daughter and he stopped looked at me funny and said " YOU have a 14 yo daugher??? I thought you were like 25!!" Blush for me and score mega points for cute farrier guy… :lol::lol::lol::lol: Yup… best …day …ever…!!! (well at least this week:lol::lol::lol:)
Perfect!!! Just as great as I expected! Complete with “the yearling” pooping on himself and SLW’s head falling off!!! He He He
ETA - I had to read back several pages to find pics of the group o’ farriers…dude…it was totally worth it. The guy in the green polo second from the left is bluther inducing pretty. I think you should tell him that he is now playing into lots of womens fantasy worlds via coth…er…maybe not… (boo on the gf…yay for loving kids! I am a sucker for a boy who plays well with kids…esp little girls big sigh)

Yea there is camp going on at the barn this week and he had a bit of a “fan club” to “watch him work” (read gaggle of little girls looking and whispering and giggling. ) He was so nice to them and he is good with the horses. He’s still learning so he does some of the “finishing work” and since my farrier also teaches I usually get the “group o guys” not that I’m complaining:winkgrin:

Sorry I haven’t posted very much…very scary couple of days! My mom, on sunday night (10:30, to be exact) got a frantic phone call from my sister that she was in an accident and her car was on fire.:eek: Did I mention she was visiting her boyfriend, over an hour away? Fortunately, she managed to get out when the flames were only small. So we were all rushing around, and it felt like it took forever to find the hospital she was sent to. When we got there she was in a neck brace and we were freaking out. Fortunately, she walked away with only a broken ankle and wrist.:yes: But if you looked at her car you would think that the person that was in there died.:no: No more car (it’s definitely totaled), no more upholstery, and most of her luggage was ruined. Except for a necklace her boyfriend gave her.:yes: Now she wants a new car…preferably European.:lol:
And Paris still doesn’t have her shoe on!

Thanks. My sis said the scariest part of it was looking at her car the day after.:no: I think all of us (my family and her boyfriend’s family) were thinking "what if she hadn’t gotten out in time "or “what if she passed out?” At least she’s cheering herself up thinking about getting a BMW.
