Iām pretty sure all of this noise is keeping me awake down here in the gutterā¦ somebody pushed me off the couch!
In a HR noteā¦ this weekend I go see the loffly TB at our local rescue. Hubby said no but heyā¦its never slowed me down before!

The problem isnāt a TB it is a flock, herd, gaggle, rumada, or what ever you want to call them.
I looked at 2 more gray ponies over the weekend. They were the right size and color but they were missing something. LF
Hubbyās problem ISNāT the TBā¦ its the pack of nine dogs inside the house and the other two out backā¦ :lol:
Of course he did agree that the bay Arabian stallion we met on Sunday seemed sweet. Too bad THAT lady bought hers for the tax benefits and even tho the market bombed 20 years ago, still thinks they are worth tens of thousands of dollars each. Not that they are being ridden or anything. :no: People amaze me constantly.

What were they missing?
Geldings?
They were geldings. They were not very well conformed not great movers and in a word lacked wow factor. Okay so that was 2 words. I want my ponies to have a hey look at me air about them. The attitude that says judge look at me. A little bit of the cocky strut thing going on. So while they were fine geldings they lacked what I find attractive in a horse. Presence, pizazz and all that. 
They lacked pony-tude :no: and a pony with out pony-tude is a little like vanilla ice cream good with the right toppings but not that great on their own. LF

SE How are your beasties doing?? Didnāt you have one that had some neuro problems?? Just wondering how they were doing now??
Yes, HL, I still have the little neuro guy I got at the beginning of the summer and the other three year old too. Little neuro is comfortable most days but not at all improved and so I will put him down at the end of the summer. Very sad, but in the meantime heās had a happy time here; my other horses love him and PKing has taken him under his wing and and sometimes shares his dinner with him after little Neuro has finished his own dinner.
Iāve been calling the other little guy Eyeore because about three weeks after I brought him here he crashed and was so depressed he could hardly lift his nose off the ground. So I pulled his shoes and told him he was at summer camp and to have fun. Very slowly his head has been coming up and yesterday he nickered to me for the first time. 
He has also earned himself a very cushy stall because thatās the only way to keep him out of the tack room. Whenever he gets a chance, he steps up an 18 inch step into the tack room and plays with my boots, buckets and anything else he can find until I discover him. He can exit down that high step backwards or forwards. I think thatās brilliant so for the past few days Iāve been calling him Einstein. Oh, and last night he played and played in the pasture and so did little Neuro. It was a sight that did me heart good
I can PM beastie if you want. If she doesnāt show, are we all just going to stop posting until she comes back, so she can have the p-10K? Iām imagining this odd silence, while the thread goes down on the listā¦and then another thread started so all the HSA can talk without posting on this thread :lol:
On a side note, Iām friends w/ PP on FB! Yay!
