Super Stubborn White Tail

Sorry for another post on getting a white tail, but I’ve read many threads and am still struggling.

My grey’s tail is a stubborn faint yellow. I can get to the point where I have gotten all the dirt and such off of it, but even when it’s clean, it’s still has a yellow tinge.

I’ve used bottles of purple shampoo, tried dishwashing soap, and did a round of bleach and toner. He did have red clay in his pasture at one point in time, so I’m wondering if it is beyond the point of repair. I also wonder if I am not bleaching it hard enough to lift all of the pigment. I’ve just been using Clorox, but am wondering if I need to take a trip to Sally’s and shell out some money for professional grade product. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Betadine scrub. It’s pretty drying, but it’s whitening magic.

Mrs. Stewart’s Blueing diluted in water as a rinse.
its far more concentrated than the purple shampoos.

Clorox will yellow a tail. You should go to a beauty supply place. Using the right product will make all the difference. Just make sure you condition really well after.
