As a Swede (although half Americanized after over a decade in the states haha) I am curious if there are any Swedish Warmblood breeders here in the states? If so could you please send information as I would love to see your/their breeding and how big the Swedish Warmblood community is here in the states
I know of two breeders in MD that breed SWB, one for jumpers the other for dressage. They aren’t as common as German and Dutch breeders but they are out there!
Thank you Darko! The Swedish Warmbloods are not as common as the German and Dutch and even Danish Warmbloods but I am fond of many of the old Swedish bloodlines and the newer talent coming out of Flyinge etc
Not a breeder, but a very happy owner of an imported 1993 SWB gelding by Artist out of Phansy.
I have always liked Amorex as a stallion located in North America.
Joe and Molly at Tailwinds Farm in Texas used to be really in the forefront. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tailwinds-Farm/347721205287362
Carol Reid used to be head of SWANA, though there has been little activity the last five years. http://pembrokefarm.com/about.aspx
It is pretty small. I have three Swedes because I got the mom, who was originally imported from Sweden, and bred her. there aren’t a lot of them, but they do well!
Thank you everyone! So much fun to see Swedish Warmbloods here in the US including many of the old lines I grew up with

I saw one of theirs at a schooling show a few weeks back and was impressed with her!
Not that big here but they are around. I had emailed SWANA and they said they were redoing their website, so hopefully they will get more active again.
@Janiz My coming 6 y.o. gelding is Swedish and I got him from a small Maryland breeder. His bloodlines are Pablo-Rambo (Danish)-Amiral and he comes from mare line #1. He has good bone, great feet, and an incredible brain. I might be just a little bit prejudiced, but I think he’s the bestest!
Photos might be required! Please?
Well, since you twisted my arm…
Here he is free jumping August 2016:

For fun, I did a “side-by-side” of him with his grandsire, Pilot. This is him in April 2016, two months before turning 5:
