Synergist saddles and other trail/endurance options

Hey,

I happened upon one that looks very interesting, but I know little about this brand. Does anyone have one? Has anyone ever bought one used and had it resized by Synergist? This is very intriguing. Are they worth the money?

We currently have a Heather Moffett Vogue for dressage and really like it. I am just wanting a western/endurance style to mycoles enjoy on the trails. Plus, I’ll admit to being a tackaholic. Other recommendations under 1000.00 are appreciated.

Happy riding,
Jessie and the Stinky Pony aka Bosco

You’ve probably heard already that it’s cheaper to buy a customized saddle than pay over and over for saddles that’s don’t fit…

an inexpensive, fabulous custom saddle company is DeSoto Saddles. The saddle maker bleeds over getting her saddle to fit your horse perfectly. I’m finally gearing up to order one for my little tiny Arabian after envying my friend’s saddle for years. (He bought one fitted to his large, flat-backed, wide-shouldered Spanish Mustang while his wife bought one fitted to her narrow, tall, and flat shouldered Arabian.) My experience so far mirrors theirs as Marilyn is simply a lovely person. http://desotosaddles.com/

I love my synergist…there are few up for sale right now well under $1000 on endurance FB groups
The only down side is it is heavy — I was surprised how much my tack and all weighed when I stood for BC! (especially once you have soaked saddle pad)

They can only be resized to a degree - CJ at Synergist is great and will tell you specs the saddle was made to (horse and rider) and what she can modify it to.
